Choppity is entering a new chapter under new ownership. Focused on rebuilding trust, improving performance, and delivering creator-first innovation. This update covers everything we’ve shipped since the acquisition, what’s new this month, and where we’re heading next.
A new era for Choppity begins
In September 2025, Choppity was acquired by Michael Wong, founder of the online design school Designership and a content creator with over 400,000 followers, including more than 200,000 subscribers on YouTube where he teaches product design.
As both a founder and an active creator, Michael saw first-hand the growing need for an AI-powered video editor built specifically for transforming podcasts and long-form videos into engaging short clips.
Over the last three months, our mission has been simple:
- Get back on top of support tickets
- Fix long-standing bugs and stability issues
- Ship meaningful, creator-focused features
- Improve speed, reliability, and overall performance
Today, we’re excited to share everything we’ve shipped — and what’s coming next.
